Beeb make it hard to Love My Country

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

APPROPRIATE schedule clash of the week?

Saturday, 7pm. On BBC1, I Love My Country. On Channel 4, Mission Impossible II.

Let’s be honest, feeling patriotic is a tall order when the national broadcaster serves up this garbage.

One of the panelists was ex- Eastender Martine McCutcheon, who loves her country loads – until it is time to pay the taxman, when she declares herself bankrupt.

Another was Eamonn Holmes, described by host Gaby Logan as “the don of daytime TV.”

I think she misread the autocue. Surely she meant the TON of daytime TV. SKY 1 spoof cop drama

is not only bloody funny but it also stars the goddess Suranne Jones as a bi-sexual detective. Need I say more? Actually yes, I do. This week her character made a reference to having bum sex. Would that make her Sore-Anus Jones?
