NOT­TING­HAM FOR­EST keeper Karl Dar­low has vowed to re­pay the faith shown in him by boss Billy Davies.

Dar­low, 22, has been the Reds’ No.1 this term de­spite the ar­rival of Dorus de Vries and has been re­warded with a four-year deal.

“The man­ager has shown faith in me,” said Dar­low.

“He came in, stuck with me and this sea­son he made me his No.1.

“I am de­lighted with what I am do­ing and I just want to carry on.”

The Lions have lost striker Steve Mori­son for a month fol­low­ing a her­nia op­er­a­tion.

Gaffer Steve Lo­mas said: “Dur­ing Thurs­day’s train­ing ses­sion the pain was such that Steve could not sprint fully.”
