DAVIES KEEPS FAITH IN KARL
NOTTINGHAM FOREST keeper Karl Darlow has vowed to repay the faith shown in him by boss Billy Davies.
Darlow, 22, has been the Reds’ No.1 this term despite the arrival of Dorus de Vries and has been rewarded with a four-year deal.
“The manager has shown faith in me,” said Darlow.
“He came in, stuck with me and this season he made me his No.1.
“I am delighted with what I am doing and I just want to carry on.”
The Lions have lost striker Steve Morison for a month following a hernia operation.
Gaffer Steve Lomas said: “During Thursday’s training session the pain was such that Steve could not sprint fully.”
