MILNER SAYS THREE
JAMES MILNER insists there is no risk of a Kevin Pietersen-style rift in the Three Lions dressing room.
Pietersen this week lifted the lid on the rows and cliques that ripped apart the England cricket team.
But Manchester City midfielder Milner insists there is a unity among the nation’s top footballers.
And he credits Three Lions chief Roy Hodgson with creating the correct environment for the squad during international breaks.
Milner said: “We have team meetings as a full team. Over the last couple of years we have had unit meetings to work on specific sections of the pitch and then go into a big meeting. The manager wants to voice an opinion. He wants our feedback as well. He wants discussions on what is best for the team. I think those meetings help.
“No player will ever sit there and say it’s a terrible atmosphere, but it’s a great bunch of lads. It’s a tight-knit group.
