JAMES MILNER insists England’s World Cup humiliation will be the catalyst for Euro 2016 GLORY.

The Manchester City midfielder admits the scars of this summer’s disaster in Brazil will never heal.

But he is convinced the pain of failure in South America can provide a springboard for success in France in two years’ time.

“You don’t forget about the World Cup, it’s always there,” said Milner.

“We haven’t forgotten about it. But you always try to move forward. We’ve had a couple of good results and now we have to build on them.”

Roy Hodgson’s side face San Marino at Wembley tomorrow when they will attempt to build on the impressive victory in Switzerland.

And on Sunday they will go to Estonia when three more points will ensure they take an early grip on Group E. LALLANA READY TO GO GOAL CRAZY: P62-63
