BLUES CAN’T GET JACK OFF
ASTON VILLA wonder kid Jack Grealish has snubbed Chelsea and committed his future to the Midlands club.
The 19-year-old midfielder has agreed a new four-year deal to end speculation over his future.
Chelsea had led a string of top clubs keen on Grealish, who has broken into Villa’s first-team squad this season.
But the highly-rated youngster (above) has opted to stay loyal to Villa, having come through the ranks. It’s another boost for the club after boss Paul Lambert – as well as Gabby Agbonlahor and Alan Hutton – all penned new deals.
Lambert will turn his attention to sorting out deals for Fabian Delph and skipper Ron Vlaar.
Grealish must now decide whether to commit his international future to England or Ireland after pulling out of an Under-21 clash for the Republic.
