Tiger feast fiend caged

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A BUSINESSMAN has been jailed for killing and eating TIGERS.

The man, known only by his surname Xu, made three separate trips to the southern province of Guangdong in China.

Court reports show he took at least 15 other people who would assist and watch as he killed the endangered big cats.

After murdering the animals, Xu would grill their bones and paws, store their penises and create alcohol out of the three tigers’ blood.

One of the slaughters was filmed and later obtained by police, who also found tiger meat in Xu’s fridge.

He was sentenced to 13 years in prison and fined 1.55 million yuan – around £200,000.

Chinese people believe tiger meat has healthy properties and also works as an aphrodisiac.
