Toby Carvery ( BOSSES at a Toby Carvery have apologised after a waitress shouted at a glamour model: ‘At least I don’t get my tits out on TV’.
Rachel Hobbs – who models as Lacey Lorenzo – was celebrating her 21st birthday with family and friends at her local, The Crown Toby Carvery in Bromley, south London.
But Rachel says when complained to a waitress that the paper plates used to hand out her birthday cake looked ‘dirty’ she was met with a mouthful of abuse.
The 34DD model, said the waitress – who recognised her from television – shouted: “At least I don’t get my tits out on TV!”
“I just wanted to go there because I really enjoy roast dinners. It was so messed up.
“It’s so unprofessional to do that...it’s just my job.
“It ruined my birthday. I was crying.”
Bosses at the carvery called 999 after Miss Hobbs got ‘very angry’, but police confirmed no action was taken.
A spokesman for the Toby Carvery said this week: “We apologise to Rachel or her family for any upset caused and for the unprofessional comments made by a member of our team.
“We have investigated the complaint fully and are dealing with the employee involved.
“Our manager apologised unreservedly to the family at the time and also waived the meal bill as a gesture of goodwill.”
