Bra-zen tippers dump undies at beauty spot
A WALKER was left stunned after fly-tippers dumped a load of women’s BRAS all over a country lane.
Suzanne Norbury, 32, was rambling with her boyfriend when she spotted the undergarments in a hedgerow.
She claims there were at least 10 brassieres – along with a number of other items – discarded near Tor Woods, in Wells, Somerset.
Suzanne said: “We’d just parked up in the layby, and I was surprised to see about 10 bras dumped in the hedge.
“There was other bits from fly-tipping, but the bras were just ODD. They were all over the hedge.
“I suspect it either fell off a recycling lorry or someone chucked it there after finding the tip shut.”
Somerset Waste Partnership is urging anyone with information about fly-tipping to call Mendip District Council.
A spokesman said: “Any material intended for recycling but left as fly-tipping is collected by the district council and taken to landfill.”
