Hard­est lag Bron­son in heart­break love split

LIFER Char­lie Bron­son is “heart­bro­ken” af­ter split­ting up from his fi­ancee.

The 62-year-old in­mate, of­ten dubbed Bri­tain’s most vi­o­lent pris­oner, pro­posed to Lor­raine Ether­ing­ton back in Jan­uary 2011.

Miss Ether­ing­ton has been one of Bron­son’s most loyal and vo­cal sup­port­ers for the past four years af­ter set­ting up the Char­lie Bron­son Ap­peal Fund (CBAF).

The Fund aims to high­light the fact that Bron­son, who changed his name to Charles Sal­vador last year, has been in prison for more than 40 years, de­spite never be­ing con­victed of murder or rape.

It was an­nounced ear­lier this month, how­ever, that the CBAF was clos­ing – since Miss Ether­ing­ton and Bron­son split.

Bron­son – real name Michael Peter­son – was first jailed af­ter be­ing con­victed of armed rob­bery back in 1974.

He has been in prison – apart from 130 days out­side – ev­ery day for the last 41 years, in­clud­ing 36 years in soli­tary, due to his vi­o­lent out­bursts, at­tacks on prison war­dens and kid­nap bids.

Lor­raine co-au­thored his most re­cent book, Broad­moor: My Jour­ney into Hell, which was pub­lished ear­lier this month.
