The Brazilian, 22, has been a big hit with the Reds since signing from Inter Milan for £8.5million in 2013.
The playmaker is set to pledge his future to the club in a massive boost for Kop boss Brendan Rodgers.
But he will wait until the summer to extend his current deal – which runs to 2018 – with his attention currently on helping Liverpool finish the season on a high.
Coutinho said: “It’s not a hot topic at the moment because we are all focused on the current season and what Liverpool can achieve on the pitch.
