PETER WRIGHT has warned world champion Gary Anderson that he’s coming to wipe him out this year.

Anderson was crowned Player of the Year for 2014 after he won seven PDC ProTour titles before claiming glory at the Players Championship finals. He was also a semi-finalist in the Premier League, the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix, but topped

the lot by winning the world title earlier this month. Anderson is back this weekend when he goes for glory in the Unibet Masters, but fellow Scot Wright is out to beat him.

“Snakebite” Wright (left) bragged: “This year is going to be crazy. I believe I can win everything I enter, I really do. Now it’s up to me to back up the words and I intend doing so. Gary did terrific last year and fair play to him. He deserved the titles and the awards, but it’s going to be me this year.

“I’m going to be the one that everyone is speaking about after the World Championships and I’ll enjoy proving a lot of people wrong.

“I know with the set-up I have now, when I go up on to the stage, none of the guys in front of me in the rankings are good enough to beat me.”
