Yob jailed for Jezza fire threat
A THUG who vowed to “burn out” his former partner on an episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show has been jailed for setting fire to her house.
Carl Webster, of Radford, Nottingham, made the sickening threats on the ITV show after a DNA test proved he was the father of his ex’s child.
Luckily, no-one was injured in the blaze, but the 25-year-old admitted arson and has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.
Nottingham Crown Court heard Webster told Kyle that he had threatened to burn his son alive.
The show was never aired and the woman didn’t contact police as she didn’t take the threats seriously.
But, two days after filming in November last year, Webster sent her a message saying, “I’m doing what I said I’m going to do”, before he set fire to an electricity box at the woman’s home.
