Primary school head facing sex charges
A HEADTEACHER has been charged with sex offences against young school pupils.
Christopher Field, 46, is accused of committing offences against two girls while he was head of Woodcote Primary School in Oxfordshire.
He has been charged with three counts of assault of a girl under 13 by touching and one count of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity, Thames Valley Police said.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2010 and 2012.
Field, of Chieveley, near Newbury, was initially arrested in connection with the offences on September 19 last year, and was charged last week.
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court on June 16.
