EX Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has said he will never forgive his brother for walking out on the band during a series of live shows six years ago.

The solo star ruled out an Oasis reunion following the dispute with the Britpop band’s then-frontman Liam on tour in 2009.

Noel, who eventually walked out of Oasis after regular rows with his lead singer bro, was responsible for most of the band’s hits – including Live Forever and Wonderwall.

The warring brothers have repeatedly been asked to comment on the prospect of a reunion – particularly at Glastonbury festival.

But recalling the 2009 tour, Noel said: “You would have to go out and say in English to a load of perplexed Japanese people, ‘I know you don’t understand what I am f**king saying, but the singer has gone off, so I am going to sing the f**king rest’.

“I could never forgive him for that – ever.”
