Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill into law that allows people with concealed-carry permits to bring their guns into most places on university campuses starting August 1, 2016.

Now thousands of students have signed up to “strap gigantic swinging dildos to our backpacks” in protest.

The “Open (DILDO) Carry” protest is the brainchild of 24-year-old University of Texas graduate Jessica Jin.
