Schoolboys rob and kill teacher, 52
THREE boys aged 11 to 13 have attacked and killed a teacher and robbed her of a mobile phone and cash.
The young lads were hanging around a school in the township of Lianqiao in the province of Hunan, southern China, when they decided to rob the only adult guarding the school, the state-run
said. The boys – who are students at other schools – beat the 52-year-old woman with a wooden stick, stuffed her mouth with cloth and dragged her into a bathroom, where she died.
The attackers ran away with their victim’s mobile phone and about 2,000 yuan in cash (£200) before hey were arrested.
It was reported the three boys were all “left-behind” children – meaning their parents are migrant workers who go to more industrial Chinese cities for jobs, leaving their kids under the care of other adult relatives.
