JAMIE Oliver paid him­self a tasty £30MIL­LION last year – de­spite his com­pany re­port­ing losses of al­most £13m.

Book sales, TV shows and li­cens­ing deals saw turnover at the celebrity chef’s com­pany, Jamie Oliver Hold­ings, rocket by 21 per cent to £39.7m.

But a num­ber of debts in his other com­pa­nies saw over­all prof­its plum­met.

When ac­coun­tants in­cluded costs, ex­penses and ex­cep­tional items for the year, the com­pany ended up los­ing £12,818,072.

He also re­ceived a £10m prop­erty from Jamie Oliver Hold­ings.

And he also awarded him­self a div­i­dend of more than £2m from Fresh One Pro­duc­tions Lim­ited, which deals with his TV shows.

His earn­ings work out at around at £2.5m per month, £576,000 per week or £82,000 per day.

The 40-year-old Es­sex boy, who is now worth around £250m, also showed his gen­er­ous side by do­nat­ing £311,266 to char­ity.

While Jamie Oliver Hold­ings had a tough year, Jamie’s Ital­ian Lim­ited, which is sep­a­rate, re­ported a more suc­cess­ful 12 months.

Turnover at the restau­rant com­pany, which has 38 venues in the UK, soared by seven per cent to £109m.

Prof­its at Jamie’s Ital­ian, of which Oliver owns a 50 per cent share, were £2.6m.
