Jump’s Beth back home af­ter fall

GYM­NAST Beth Twed­dle has been dis­charged from hos­pi­tal fol­low­ing a fall dur­ing train­ing for Chan­nel 4 show The Jump.

The 30-year-old ( above), who won bronze at the Lon­don Olympic Games in 2012, tweeted a snap of her­self wear­ing a neck brace.

She tweeted, “Hi ev­ery­one, I just wanted to let you know the good news that I am be­ing dis­charged from hos­pi­tal to­day.”

Beth had a neck op­er­a­tion which in­volved hav­ing a piece of bone taken from her hip to help fuse two frac­tured ver­te­brae in her neck.

On Satur­day, she said she had started to feel bet­ter and was walk­ing by her­self but said she was “tak­ing one day at a time” and thank­ing doc­tors and fans.

Beth is one of five celebs in­jured on the third se­ries of The Jump, prompt­ing Chan­nel 4 to re­view safety pro­ce­dures.
