ROMPING could be the key to a good memory in later life, experts claim.

According to a study by Coventry University, steamy sex sessions can have a positive effect on brain health.

The benefits were high among older men – with a study group able to recall lists and recognise patterns particularly well.

Researchers asked 6,800 people, aged 50-89, about their sex lives and then gave them a number of mental tests.

The group were played a list of 10 words and asked to repeat them after five minutes.

They were also given a sequence of numbers, with one out of place, and then asked to correct the pattern.

And the sexually active men scored 23 percent higher on the word tests and three per cent higher on the number quizzes.
