Drink drive girl downed seven bottles of wine
A DRUNK female driver told police she had downed SEVEN bottles of wine after she crashed her Mercedes into a parked car.
Joanne Crosby, 36, was stopped after she was seen “stumbling over the road” after the collision on February 6.
When cops asked how drunk she was, on a scale of “one to 10,” Crosby told them, “50.”
The mother-of-three admitted driving while unfit through drink, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, two counts of assaulting officers in the execution of their duty and driving without insurance.
She was sentenced to 21 days in prison, suspended for six months, when she appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
