West­min­ster Bridge fall

A MAN was last night be­ing treated for head in­juries af­ter fall­ing from West­min­ster Bridge and land­ing on con­crete steps by Speaker’s Green in the Houses of Par­lia­ment.

Met­ro­pol­i­tan Po­lice said they are not treat­ing the in­ci­dent as sus­pi­cious.

An air am­bu­lance and po­lice were at the scene, just af­ter noon.

Labour col­league Keith Vaz, a City sea­son ticket holder, added: “He has united the city and brought to­gether peo­ple of dif­fer­ent faiths and races.

“It would be fit­ting and more than de­served.”
