Obama 1st US Hiroshima trip
BARACK Obama will travel to Hiroshima this month in the first visit by a sitting Yank president to the site where the United States dropped an atomic bomb.
The White House said President Obama will visit the site along with Japanese leader Shinzo Abe.
Mr Obama’s visit will bolster his call for denuclearisation and honour victims of the bombing that killed 140,000 Japanese on August 6, 1945.
Last month, US Secretary of State John Kerry visited the memorial to the Hiroshima bombing.
