Holidays ‘will costa lot more’
LEAVING the EU could add hundreds of pounds to the cost of a family holiday, David Cameron has claimed.
The PM said the value of the pound against the euro would suffer a 12% slump if the UK leaves the EU.
And, according to Government calculations, that means by 2018 four people on a ninenight break to Spain could pay £225 more.
Cam said: “If we were to leave and the pound were to fall, it could put up the cost of air travel, and you would face all sorts of bureaucracy and restrictions that you don’t face today.”
