Girls Aloud Sarah to star in Ghost
GIRLS Aloud singer Sarah Harding will make her stage debut in a new production of Ghost The Musical.
She will play the lead opposite Hollyoaks actor Andy Moss, who starred as Rhys Ashworth in the Channel 4 soap for eight years.
The musical is based on the 1990 romantic fantasy thriller starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg.
Bill Kenwright’s new production follows the original Ghost The Musical, which premiered in the West End in 2011 before transferring to Broadway.
With a fresh cast, it features an expanded book, new music and original staging.
The show will tour the UK this autumn, opening at the New Wimbledon Theatre on September 1.
Harding said the movie was “one of my all-time favourites”.
The 34-year-old former pop star’s acting credits have included Freefall, Coronation Street St Trinians 2. THE Irish name for jellyfish is which literally translates as ‘seal’s snot’. and
