HOLLYOAKS actor Parry Glasspool has been suspended from the soap for posting a video in which he appeared to joke about domestic violence.

The 24-year-old ( above), who plays student Harry Thompson on the Channel 4 drama, caused controversy with the video in which he wielded a knife.

Soap bosses have fined the actor an undisclosed sum, which Glasspool said he will donate to a domestic violence charity.

In a statement, he said: “I am truly sorry to anyone I have upset or offended.”

The clip, now deleted from the actor’s Instagram account, was posted in June and featured the actor taking on the role of a woman warning her boyfriend about talking to other girls.

“I would kill you if you did ... With this knife I know exactly how to. Done it before and I’ll do it again so don’t even think about it,” he said.

The incident came after he apologised for making a “date rape” joke about Love Island contestant Daniel Lukakis on Instagram.
