PRINCESS Diana used to buy porn mags and send them to her lover when he was stationed in Saudi Arabia.

The adulteress was shagging army captain James Hewitt while he was sent abroad for first Iraq War, back in 1990.

And Diana was missing him so much she wrote to him every day.

But her ginger fancyman was missing more than the People’s Princess – he was pining for booze and grot – both banned in the Muslim state where he was stationed.

So dirty Diana made the tank commentator parcels packed with nudey mags – and whisky – so he could knock one out.

Diana’s then police protection officer Ken Wharf said: “Hewitt flew out to Saudi Arabia in December 1990, during the run-up to war with Iraq.

“Diana wrote to him all the time – sometimes twice a day – and sent hampers from Fortnum & Mason containing bottles of whisky, knowing alcohol was difficult to purchase in Muslim states.

“She also enclosed copies of ‘adult’ mags such as Playboy, Mayfair and Penthouse.

“Since publications containing any hint of pornography were banned by the Saudis, this was as rebellious as it was flirtatious.”

Wharf also revealed how Diana would deny having an affair with Hewitt – even though he used to hear them loudly shagging.

He added: “The pair usually met at an old cottage in Devon where the creaking bedroom floorboards told the story more loudly than any confession.”

AFFAIR: Diana and James Hewitt
