One in six pre­fer a bar­gain to a bonk

ONE-IN-SIX Brits say that bag­ging a bar­gain gives them more plea­sure than SEX.

A poll by re­tail chain tofs (The Orig­i­nal Fac­tory Shop) – which has more than 200 stores in the UK – found that 15 per cent of Brits said they got a ‘big­ger buzz’ from get­ting a dis­count than hav­ing a steamy romp.

Women only nar­rowly beat men, with 17 per cent con­fess­ing they pre­ferred bar­gain shop­ping to sex, com­pared to 13 per cent of men.

The city of Brighton and Hove came top in the bar­gain-hunt­ing stakes, with 21 per cent say­ing it was bet­ter than sex.

The sur­vey of 2,000 Brits found that 67 per cent of shop­pers con­fessed to ‘get­ting an adren­a­line rush’ when they spot­ted a bar­gain.
