One in six prefer a bargain to a bonk
ONE-IN-SIX Brits say that bagging a bargain gives them more pleasure than SEX.
A poll by retail chain tofs (The Original Factory Shop) – which has more than 200 stores in the UK – found that 15 per cent of Brits said they got a ‘bigger buzz’ from getting a discount than having a steamy romp.
Women only narrowly beat men, with 17 per cent confessing they preferred bargain shopping to sex, compared to 13 per cent of men.
The city of Brighton and Hove came top in the bargain-hunting stakes, with 21 per cent saying it was better than sex.
The survey of 2,000 Brits found that 67 per cent of shoppers confessed to ‘getting an adrenaline rush’ when they spotted a bargain.
