A WOMAN is in custody after police found FOUR tigers in the house she shares with her 14-year-old daughter.

Trisha Meyer, 34, of Houston, was arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Court documents show Meyer kept three tiger cubs, an adult tiger, a fox, a skunk and several monkeys in the home she was leasing.

A spokesperson for BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions said: “Having wildlife inside your home or even in your yard is dangerous. It can pose a threat to anyone in the house – especially if it isn’t restrained.”

Meyer is now facing charges for allowing her animals to roam freely inside her home in contact with her daughter.

She is currently being held on a £1,600 bail.
