Assange trumps Trump in voting
WIKILEAKS founder Julian Assange is leading a poll to find magazine’s person of the year.
He is ahead of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump in the readers’ online vote for this year’s award with 12 per cent of the vote compared with Trump’s 11 per cent.

The magazine’s editors make the final selection but the poll _ which ends in two weeks – is a way for readers to voice their opinions.
Assange (above) has lived in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for more than four years and has been granted political asylum by Ecuador.
