PC ‘put finger up cop’s bottom’
A POLICEMAN carried out a sex attack on a fellow cop in their own parade room, by sticking his finger up his BUM, a court heard.
PC Jeremy Fowler, 40, is accused of assaulting a PCSO officer by inserting his finger into his anus when he was pinned down on the floor by fellow PC Mathew Davies.
The court was told Fowler shouted out: “Smell my finger!” as other cops laughed at his actions.
The court heard the male PCSO was thrown to the floor by 6ft 4in PC Davies, 38, and was then sexually assaulted by 6ft 1in Fowler while on the floor of their police station, surrounded by other officers.
Prosecuting Matthew Cobb said the parade room was “a very busy room and sometimes quite boisterous” as officer gather at the end and beginning of shifts.
Mr Cobb said: “Mr Davies engaged in some banter with the complainant, making jokes about his clothes and teasing him.
“He then got up from a chair and went over to him, grabbed him in a bear hug and forced him to the ground with his arms around him holding him tight.
“He was restrained on the floor and Jeremy Fowler got involved.
“He walked across the room and lay on his legs, keeping him pinned to the ground.
“Fowler then slipped his hand into the complainant’s trousers and penetrated his anus with his finger.
“This was sexual violation that was taking place in plain sight.”
Swansea Crown Court heard the experienced PCSO at Merthyr Tydfil Police Station, South Wales, was due to become a “fully-fledged police constable” around the time in June 2014.
Fowler, of Brecon, Powys, denies assault by penetration, claiming it was “horseplay”.
The trial continues.
