RUBBING DOWN: Tania Williams A PHYSIOTHERAPIST has been suspended for having sex with two rugby players she treated.
Mum-of-three Tania Williams admitted professional misconduct when she began sexual relationships with the players from two rugby organisations she worked for.
The charge was brought against her after one of the men, the second man’s wife and an official with the rugby organisations filed complaints.
Ms Williams was in a relationship with ‘Mr R’ from May to July in 2014 and began a relationship with ‘Mr M’ between late September and October the same year.
A Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal in Auckland, New Zealand, heard: “Ms Williams provided Mr R with physiotherapy services, including rubbing down his calves and hamstrings before rugby games.”
The relationship began after Ms Williams invited Mr R to her home to talk about troubles she was having with her boyfriend.
The tribunal was told: “Ms Williams provided Mr R with alcohol and food. Later they had sex. Ms Williams and Mr R
