Warwick: My blacked-up family shock

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

ACTOR Warwick Davis was horrified to learn his ancestors BLACKED-UP and sang offensive songs about race.

The Hollywood star delved into his family history and found out his relatives performed in crude variety shows.

Warwick, 47, said: “My great-great grandfather, Dennis Manning, was a violinist in Pell’s American Opera Troupe.

“They performed variety shows. They presented bawdy, and at times rather demeaning, parodies of African American songs.

“And, unfortunately, they blacked-up on stage. It was a shock when I discovered that side of the troupe’s act and I was slightly horrified.”

The Star Wars and Harry Potter actor swapped the big screen for the small screen when he made the shock find, on BBC fact-finding show, Who Do You Think You Are? which shows a number of high-profile celebs researching their family history. THERE are 40 billion bacteria in one gram of shit. BUSTY beauty Bella Thorne donned a sheer top and showed off her kinky nipple piercing in a racy Snapchat selfie.

The 19-year-old seems keen to distance herself from her child-star past and has been posting a series of saucy snaps in recent weeks.

Former Disney star Bella starred in a number of Disney films and TV shows but her sexed-up image is a far cry from those days.

Not only did she reveal her pierced nip in her tight crop top, she also showed off her impressive abs in her latest sultry social media post.
