Jailed af­ter sus­tained at­tack caught on CCTV

A GARAGE owner caught on his own CCTV cam­eras tor­tur­ing one of his work­ers with a blow­torch, for steal­ing money from his busi­ness, has been jailed.

Mo­hammed Has­nat, 35, burnt the 27-year-old man on his back, stom­ach and knees and shocked him with jump leads at­tached to a car bat­tery.

The vic­tim, who can­not be named, was also gagged and tied be­fore be­ing beaten with a baseball bat, a metal pole and a trun­cheon dur­ing the or­deal.

He even heard Has­nat and his ac­com­plices, IT grad­u­ate Shu­jel Ahmed, 27, dis­cussing whether to kill him and dis­pose of his body by crush­ing it in­side a car.

The vic­tim was fi­nally re­leased af­ter a se­ries of calls were made to his fam­ily, de­mand­ing £7,000.

He ad­mit­ted steal­ing from Has­nat while work­ing at 24/7 Autos in Bark­ing, east Lon­don. CAGED: Ahmed
