Jailed after sustained attack caught on CCTV

A GARAGE owner caught on his own CCTV cameras torturing one of his workers with a blowtorch, for stealing money from his business, has been jailed.

Mohammed Hasnat, 35, burnt the 27-year-old man on his back, stomach and knees and shocked him with jump leads attached to a car battery.

The victim, who cannot be named, was also gagged and tied before being beaten with a baseball bat, a metal pole and a truncheon during the ordeal.

He even heard Hasnat and his accomplices, IT graduate Shujel Ahmed, 27, discussing whether to kill him and dispose of his body by crushing it inside a car.

The victim was finally released after a series of calls were made to his family, demanding £7,000.
