Father and son kill each other in crash

A FATHER and son both died after drunkenly smashing their cars into EACH OTHER.

Jeffrey and Austin Brasher were killed in the head-on collision after they crashed their separate pick-up trucks into each other, in Fayette County, Alabama.

Jeffrey was pronounced dead at the scene, while his son was rushed to hospital, where he later died.

One family member posted on social media: “Our hearts are broken. There are no words to describe the loss of losing both Jeff Brasher and Austin Brasher.”

The collision happened at around 4am and alcohol is believed to have played a part.

Police also confirmed that neither Jeffrey, 50, nor his 22-year-old son had been wearing their seatbelt at the time.
