NOT TILL THEY THINK IT’S ALL OVER! Kasabian won’t go on stage until Foxes Euro clash finishes

ROCKERS Kasabian say they will not go on stage for a gig on the same night as Leicester City’s Champions League quarter final until it is over.

The footie-mad Leicester band announced it will be touring the UK at eight shows from April 12-22, including the O2 Forum in Kentish Town.

But the gig, on April 18, clashes with Jamie Vardy’s Foxes’ home match against Atlético Madrid. The band are lifelong fans of the club.

Tom Meighan and Serge Pizzorno warned fans they would be going on stage late that night.

Tom said that when details of the last-eaight clash emerged “we were going mad”.

Serge said: “Soon as we got through, the diary was the first port of call – and we’re definitely going to go on late.

“We’ll go on after the game, so if you’re coming to that show and it goes into extra time we won’t go on until it’s over.”

Should the football match go into extra time and penalties it might not finish until around 11pm.

The gig is currently scheduled to finish at that time, which is generally about when concerts at the venue end.

It is understood shows can finish after 11pm when required.
