TWITTER RIPS INTO HER LATEST ‘DOLMIO’ FACE JOB
FANS have blasted Katie Price’s latest face job and said it makes her look like one of the DOLMIO PUPPETS on the TV ads.
The former glamour girl revealed the results of her first facelift last week and fans were quick to compare the result to the young girl in the commercial for Italian sauce.
Katie, 39, showed off her ‘silhouette facelift’, which uses threads to lift sagging skin tissue and is meant to make her look younger.
However, comments left on her Instagram pictures compared her to a television puppet and a plastic doll.
One wag said, “She looks like a Dolmio puppet” and “I hope you kept the receipt”, while others said she should have a loyalty card for her surgeon.
Some mocked the mum-of-five’s puffy face, saying, “When’s your Katie Price day?” a reference to the TV ad’s slogan “When’s your Dolmio day?”
Reality TV star Katie revealed her new look to her 1.5 million followers in an Instagram video last week.
In it she said: “I had a facelift last Friday. This is five days after. I had it done at London Bridge Plastic Surgery.
“I must say I’ve got no bruising, no scars, just a couple of stitches and my skin is really smooth.”
Despite the backlash, Katie also said she’ll return to the surgery in six weeks for even more work on her face.
She added: “Although he’s put the threads in, in six weeks’ time he’ll pull them, and after they’ve been pulled my face will look fresher. I’m preventing ageing.”
