MP bricked by motorbike thugs

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A LABOUR MP has urged the public to help identify two thugs after suffering facial injuries in a brick attack.

Steve McCabe ( was hit in the face when two bikers hurled a stone and a brick at him when he challenged their anti-social behaviour in his Selly Oak constituency in Birmingham.

The 61-year-old posted an appeal for information on Twitter, showing two individuals wearing full-face helmets and riding motorbikes.

Mr McCabe said: “I was out with a few Labour volunteers to do a spot of door-knocking and a couple of characters came down the road and started doing wheelies.

“I shouted at them to pack it in. One of them got off the bike and chucked a stone at me and the other one chucked something at the side of my head. It could have been worse.” THE ENGLAND women’s team have reached the semi-finals of the European competition.

But it’s a shame we won’t see them like this!

The Lionesses beat France for the first time in 43 years to advance to tomorrow’s semi against The Netherlands in Enscede, Holland.

Despite tournament rules stating every player must wear a football kit, we can’t help but think viewing figures might increase if they stripped off.

A team of eight women dared to bare when they went naked for their match earlier this year and even flashed their FANNIES in their X-rated display.

In Asia, female players definitely weren’t left on the bench when they turned up to matches wearing nothing but their socks and boots.

Off-the-pitch sessions got steamy as well with a foursome going topless poolside to show off their ball-handling skills.

A group of women on the beach also went naked as they got to grips with the ball and showed off their amazing tackle.

England striker Jodie Taylor scored the only goal in Sunday night’s quarter final against France to set up a semi-final clash with host nation, Holland.
