TEACHER’S LESBO SEX SESSIONS WITH TEEN PUPIL AT SCHOOL
A LESBIAN teacher who admitted sexually abusing a 16-year-old female student has been spared prison.
Nina Scott was sentenced to three months to 23 months in jail.
But the 28-year-old will only have to serve the minimum portion of her sentence on electronic home monitoring under a plea deal.
Scott was a teacher at The Village in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, prior to her arrest in January on more than 70 counts, including 34 counts each of institutional sexual assault of a minor and corruption of minors.
She engaged in numerous sexual encounters with the student at Scott’s home, at the school and in local parks between February and October 2016.
An investigation began after what PLEA DEAL: Scott dodged jail police described as “love letters” were found in the juvenile’s room at the child-care facility for kids with trauma and behaviour problems, where Scott had been a teacher since October 2015.
Scott referred to the victim as “her girlfriend” in the letters and detailed some areas of their relationship.
Police then became aware of the allegations and arrested Scott.
In addition to the electronic home monitoring, Scott was given five years of consecutive sex offender probation and ordered not to have any contact with the student.
She will also be evaluated by the state Sexual Offenders Assessment Board to determine whether she meets the criteria for a sexually violent predator, which may trigger another hearing.
