Van girl quizzed over cyclist death
A FEMALE driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist was killed in a collision with a transit van.
A police spokesman said the cyclist, believed to be in his 30s, suffered critical injuries in the incident in Holloway, north London.
He was treated by officers and the London Ambulance Service personnel, but was pronounced dead at the scene “a short while later”.
Cops were last night questioning the driver, a woman, at a north London police station.
She was driving a Ford Transit van.
Road closures around the scene are still in place and motorists were last night advised to avoid the area.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
