Diplomat is free after boob grope

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A DIPLOMAT who fled police after he allegedly groped a woman in a bar will not face charges because his job means he enjoys immunity from prosecution.

Sudanese official Hassan Salih, 36, is reported to have grabbed a 23-year-old woman’s breasts and buttocks while partying at Bar None in New York.

When the alleged victim complained, the bar’s bouncer grabbed hold of Salih until police could arrive.

During questioning, Salih tried to run away – but officers eventually caught up with him and he was arrested.

Salih then produced a diplomatic immunity card.

After investigators confirmed he was an employee for the United Nations, they had no choice but to let him walk free.
