Caz is up for prize

WATER­LOO-BASED cake shop Caz’s Kitchen has been short­listed in the Mersey­side In­de­pen­dent Busi­ness Awards 2017 in both the Re­tailer of the Year and Com­mu­nity Im­pact Award cat­e­gory.

The awards cer­e­mony will be tak­ing place at the Rum Ware­house, Ti­tanic Ho­tel, Liver­pool on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 12 when the over­all win­ners will be an­nounced.

Caro­line Hill, who owns Caz’s Kitchen, says the busi­nesses ethos is ‘‘to spread the love to our com­mu­nity through the medium of cake!’’

On be­ing nom­i­nated for two awards Caro­line said: “Woohoo and wow!

“Thanks for the short­list­ing @mibawards #MIB17 and big love to all our cus­tomers that took the time to write into us com­ments for us to use as part of our ap­pli­ca­tion. “Best cus­tomers ever! “We are feel­ing very proud to be nom­i­nated es­pe­cially as it’s great pro­mo­tion for our lo­cal com­mu­nity: Water­loo and St. John’s Road.”
