Extra-time misery for the Bucks as they are knocked out of FA Vase
Stockton Town 4 Bootle 2 BOOTLE bowed out of the FA Vase at the second-round stage after suffering an extra-time defeat at Stockton Town.
Joe Carter put the hosts ahead after 10 minutes, but Bucks captain Liam Loughlin restored parity four minutes later with a thunderous strike from 30 yards.
Six minutes later, and Joe Doran and Phil Stafford’s side turned the game on its head when Ste Milne converted a penalty after he had been brought down inside the box.
But with 14 minutes remaining, the hosts sent the tie to extra-time after Max Craggs curled in a free-kick.
Jamie Owens then put the Yellows ahead five minutes into extra-time before Craggs curled in another free-kick to condemn the Bucks to their second straight defeat.
