Breathtaking scene down at the beach ...

Midweek Visiter - - Sandgrounder Showcase -

WELL another busy week is behind us. I can’t quite believe that its now June!

Christmas chocolates will be for sale in shops next.

We had great fun last Thursday – in preparation for National Fish and Chips Day we broadcast live from The Fylde Fish Bar in Marshside.

We were made to feel very welcome by the whole team and the food was amazing.

Thank you to everyone who came along to see us and have a chat.

It was a busy weekend too, with the annual Southport Food and Drink Festival as well.

So many people came along to sample some tasty delights.

Its been great to see so many people enjoying our area in the nice weather we’ve been experiencing recently.

We ventured down to Ainsdale Beach at dusk last week and the scene was breathtaking, as the tide was slowly starting to role in. More days like that please. Next week i’ll be telling you about something very exciting we’re doing for the Southport Air Show in July.

Don’t forget you can join me, weekdays from 3pm on DAB+ digital radio, mobile apps and online via www.sandgrounderradio.co.uk
