TWO months have now passed since Southport student Adam Seaton was last seen.

Appeals to find Adam, who also works at the town’s Morrisons superstore, have continued, with signs in locations such as Kew roundabout and inside businesses around Southport.

Pictures of Adam, who left his car at the RSPB car park in Marshside, have also been shown on the giant screen at Liverpool FC’s Anfield stadium and Goodison Park, home of Everton FC.

His family have launched a dedicated Facebook group which has been sharing messages from his parents, Andy and Karen, and sister, Helen, as well as other family members, friends and colleagues.

The group also has links for updated posters for anyone who wants to display a new version, while the family are encouraging anyone who wants to add their own message to contact the group.

Merseyside police renewed appeals for witnesses two weeks ago as detectives revealed two unconfirmed sightings of the student shortly before his last known whereabouts.

Police, along with colleagues from the Coastguard and Mersey Fire and Rescue Service, have carried out extensive open land and open water searches have been carried out in the Sefton area and CCTV, mobile phone and other inquiries have been carried out.

Since his disappearance, the force has received unconfirmed sightings from different witnesses who said they believe they saw someone fitting Adam’s description around the time of his disappearance.

Further information is still sought, with the family searching for any clue, no matter how small, which might explain his whereabouts.

His parents are also keen to express their thanks for all the help they’ve received so far.

Andy said: “As a family, we’re really grateful for everyone’s constant help and support, that’s family, friends, colleagues and the wider community. We’ve been completely overwhelmed by it to be honest.

“We are still looking for that one piece of information that might explain where he went after parking his car.”

Adam is described as white, 6ft 2in, slim, with brown hair, pale complexion and brown eyes.

His family believe that he was likely to be dressed in blue or black skinny jeans and a white or black T-shirt, possibly with a burgundy hoodie, and wearing Puma trainers.

He was also believed to be carrying a navy Adidas rucksack and anyone in the is asked to look out for that item.

Anyone with information on Adam’s whereabouts or his movements on August 9 is asked to contact Merseyside police by calling 101.
