SOUTHPORT Rotary Club community cervice members joined the team of marshals to support the Southport Seaside 10k run on Sunday, September 24.
A huge number of people of all ages and abilities joined the run to raise money for charity.
Fundraiser for The Galloway Society for the Blind Roya Armstrong had given a talk to the Rotary Club of Southport earlier in the year.
Club members wished to support the charity with any of its needs.
They first marshalled their Colour Blast run earlier in the year, and again were invited to join the helpers to marshal the 10k run when Galloways was a Natterjack charity partner.

Their keynote guest speaker is the Immediate Past President of Rotary International, Ian Riseley.
He and his wife, Juliet, are both from Australia.
On the Saturday afternoon, District Governor Gary Dancer is inviting the public to visit the Showcase event from 2-4pm to learn more about what Rotary does.
There will be ShelterBox and AquaBox and many other charities and Rotary initiatives to be seen. ● ROATRY clubs across the world are fully committed to assisting to eradicate polio, by helping people in Indonesia and many other countries hit by tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other natural disasters.
Rotary is a worldwide organisation which is heavily recruiting young people to continue the work it has been doing for the last 110 years.
New clubs and existing clubs wish to recruit younger people with meaningful projects in their community and overseas.
