Can anyone see Santa headed this way, yet?
K ... SO now I think it’s acceptable to start talking about Christmas ...
Yes, I know it’s only the end of October, but we have so much going on during the run-up to Christmas.
Not only are we going to be officially switching on the Sidney Road Christmas Lights on December 8, with the help of the talented people at So Talented Academy, in Southport, but we’re doing a whole range of things, too.
As of Sunday, November 18 (the day of the Southport Christmas Lights Switch-On) we’ll be officially launching ‘SANTAgrounder Radio’ online (see what we did there?!)
For the last couple of years, over the Christmas period, we’ve changed our name to SANTAgrounder, this year we’re going one step further and launching a dedicated online Christmas radio station, which will play all the greatest Christmas songs.
Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, right up
Right, enough about Christmas, I found myself parking on the multi-storey car park on Tulketh Street last week.
You can easily forget it’s there and even on a cold, grey, October afternoon, the view is still great.
Also the latest radio listening research has just been published by the officially radio data collecting company, RAJAR.
The latest figures show that listening the digital radio is at an all time high, with DAB Radio being the most preferred way of listening, compared to online and digital TV.
Don’t forget, you can listen to us as your local radio station on your DAB+ digital radio, mobile apps, smart devices and online via www. sandgrounderradio.co.uk
