Refining ‘Ready-to-plant’ figures

Most modellers are content to hack a building or even a locomotive apart, but comparatively few are willing to do the same with miniature figures. Despite their small size, it’s not difficult to make a few changes to improve them, such as altering head or arm positions. For this short demonstration, I used Dapol’s pack of Railway Workmen (C002). You get 38 in a pack (good value at £6) and, considering the age of the tooling, I think that they’re well made. They’re also perfect for adapting!
