HOW TO CORRECT ERRORS

Fox Transfers’ cabside number sheets for the Ivatt ‘4MT’ are quite clever. They’re offered in a number range with four of the five numerals as one decal. All you have to do is add the final digit, thus minimising alignment. The issue is that you only get one pair of numbers. I ruined a ‘4308X’ decal with my varnish misadventure (see panel) but was able to fudge another number by cutting the ‘430’ from a ‘43090’ decal and using a spare ‘8’ and another ‘5’.
