DAPOL MOULDS THE BRAKE IN ‘O’

Dapol’s ‘O’ gauge ready-to-run range is to expand with a very significant and useful prototype: the BR 20t brake van. Designed to complement Dapol’s open and covered BR wagons, it will produce the Diagram 1/504 (vacuum through piped) and Dia. 1/506 (unbraked). Later diagrams (1/506 and 1/507) with roller bearings and Oleo hydraulic buffers will follow. The model will follow Dapol’s now-standard wagon formula: a plastic body on a die-cast chassis, with compensation beam, sprung buffers and metal wheels, plus pin-point brass bearings.
