Life­color’s range of themed acrylic paint sets has been bol­stered by three new packs, each in­clud­ing six in­di­vid­ual 22ml pots. The Leak­ing and Stains set features a va­ri­ety of murky greens and browns, in matt and semi-gloss sheens per­fect for recre­at­ing all man­ner of damp patches and streaks on build­ings and scenery. The White Wood and Stone Grey sets are also great for scenic work, lend­ing tim­ber­work and ma­sonry a suit­ably matt fin­ish in re­al­is­tic tones. All of the paint shades are also avail­able in­di­vid­u­ally (£2.95 each). For fig­ure painters, Wilder has re­leased a range of five re­al­is­tic flesh tones in tube format. The quick-dry­ing oil-based paints dry to a matt fin­ish and can be read­ily in­ter­mixed or thinned with white spirit, or Wilder’s own thin­ners.
